The SMART MIC DETECTION technology in the N-Ear CHOICE PTT microphone can detect a microphone in a headset automatically. If you plug a headset that has a microphone into the Choice (Tier 1) PTT/mic, the CHOICE microphone will automatically detect the microphone and will switch from the CHOICE PTT/mic to the mic on the earpiece.
