The Sheepdog ALPHA’s poly-carbonate microphone housing is tough, and the mic is directional. In the housing is a condenser microphone for excellent transmit audio. The high output transducer amplifier (speaker) delivers loud and clear audio. The 360-degree rotating metal reinforced clips are located on both the microphone and earphone to conceal the wires and secure to the officer's uniform, MOLLE, load bearing vest or carrier. Polyurethane jacketed Kevlar reinforced cable with oversized strain reliefs provide peace of mind when on the job. The Sheepdog ALPHA mic is rated to protect against dust and rain. The earpiece can be worn on the left or right ear and can be trimmed to fit the user's needs.
