K9 Tambo's Story

K9 Tambo's story is about a heroic retired explosive detection dog, who, after a decorated career, faced a devastating cancer diagnosis. K9 Tambo courageously continues the fight every day with the support from the community.

K9 Tambo faithfully served the Department of Defense. For seven years, he provided critical explosive detection expertise in support of national security. Tambo searched over 10,000 vehicles and responded to more than 500 calls for service.
