Sheepdog ALPHA Quick Disconnect Lapel Mic for Motorola XTS Police Radios
The Sheepdog ALPHA Quick Disconnect Police 1-Wire Surveillance Lapel Microphone is a professional, public safety-grade earpiece, designed for law enforcement officers (LEOs). The SDA1 earpiece headset is built with the quality components and is designed to withstand the demanding environments. Perfect for Police/Law Enforcement, Agents, Fire, EMS, Security and Military use, the Sheepdog ALPHA (SDA) utilizes a durable Push-to-Talk (PTT) button that is large enough to use when wearing gloves. The 6-Pin Hirose Quick Disconnect (QD) adapter allows for easy attachment and quick release. The SDA1 headset earpiece kit eliminates the need for a bulky speaker microphone while providing private radio traffic. The wired surveillance microphone can be removed from the adapter without disconnecting the adapter from the radio or pack set. With the wire kit disconnected and the adapter still attached to the radio, the police officer will be able to transmit and receive via the radio's PTT, front panel mic and built-in speaker. There is no need to remove the adapter for the officer or agent to utilize the normal radio functions. The Sheepdog ALPHA’s poly-carbonate microphone housing is tough, and the mic is directional. In the housing is a condenser microphone for excellent transmit audio. The high output transducer amplifier (speaker) delivers loud and clear audio. The 360-degree rotating metal reinforced clips are located on both the microphone and earphone to conceal the wires and secure to the officer's uniform, MOLLE, load bearing vest or carrier. Polyurethane jacketed Kevlar reinforced cable with oversized strain reliefs provide peace of mind when on the job. The Sheepdog ALPHA mic is rated to protect against dust and rain. The replaceable, coiled acoustic tube assembly is perfect for hygiene and convenience. The earpiece can be worn on the left or right ear and can be trimmed to fit the user's needs. TX Wire is 38 Inches. RX is Wire 20 Inches (30 Inches when extended).
