Will Chesney served in the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) as an operator and dog handler. He participated in Operation Neptune Spear, which resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden. Chesney received a Silver Star and a Purple Heart, and now helps veterans who have suffered traumatic brain injury.

Despite his retirement, Will has continued to serve his country in numerous ways. He is an accomplished author, having authored the best-selling book No Ordinary Dog. Texas native Will Chesney made the noble decision to serve his country in 2002 when he joined the United States Navy. Following the completion of BUD/S Class 246, Will was stationed in Virginia Beach, where he served as a SEAL in multiple deployments worldwide.
